Practise will help encourage you and give you the confidence you need to make you a stronger, happier, and more dedicated bartender. The bartender must be acquainted with their area well and must know how to act upon their mixing duties once the business is on the rise. Another job bartenders have is knowing their drinks.
You learn how to operate the bar equipment, and there are even courses in ordering supplies, inventory control and profit margins. For the alcohol dependent drinks you must know something about these drinks or you should get a pro bartender. Good bartenders are conditioned to serving a multiple number of customers at the same time without getting the orders mixed up or all wrong.
And most importantly, get the interviewer to like you. Once you become a bartender you will be absolutely amazed at how often you make the same drinks.
